Worshippers highly appreciate the awareness role played by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) during the Holy Month of Ramadan
Ramadan lectures continue at mosques in Sharjah and Khorfakkan Activities of the Ramadan educational and awareness lectures ‘Eiman Oasis’, an initiative by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in collaboration with Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department, have completed the first six lectures delivered by renowned scholars and preachers at Al Salaf Al Saleh Mosque in Sharjah and Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque in Khorfakkan. Eiman Oasis’ lectures included many topics that highlighted the tolerance of Islam and will be concluded on 14th of Ramadan (30th of June). Worshippers at Al Salaf Al Saleh Mosque in Sharjah positively responded to Sheikh Haitham Mohammed Jameel Sarhan’s lecture titled “Happiness”, which presented Quranic and prophetic texts, ways of joy and its impact on the life of Muslims in the worldly life and the hereafter. They, also, hailed the lecture titled “Companions of Prophets in the Quran” that presented their greatness and struggle to convey the message of Islam, despite the hardship they faced. At the same mosque, Sheikh Khalid Mohammed Al Qahtani delivered a lecture titled “Good Deeds and Impacts on Muslims”, in which he presented the meanings, importance, ways and rewards of good deeds. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Hisham Al Tahiri presented a lecture titled “How our Lord Loves us”, in which he cited verses from the Holy Quran and Hadith about this topic. Sheikh Salahuddin Al Tahiri led the worshippers in Tarawih prayers in the same mosque on the 5th day of Ramadan, followed by Sheikh Ahmed Abdulkarim from the 6th to 8th day of Ramadan. Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chief Operating Officer at Sharjah Investment and Development Authority “Shurooq”, said: “The first batch of the Eiman Oasis lectures witnessed an interaction from the public which reflects an ongoing desire to gain more knowledge and demonstrates the success of the preachers who excelled in capturing the attention of the audience throughout the initial seven lectures.We wish the remaining lectures will see a similar success and will support our approach to enrich the life of communities and individuals during the holy month of Ramadan”. In his lecture titled “To when Human Being” at Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque in Khorfakkan, Sheikh Daham Karim Al Fadhli presented the danger of negligence and wasting time in worthless works for Muslims in the worldly life and the hereafter. In a lecture titled “It is Paradise”, Sheikh Jassim Hussein Al Obaidly described the abundance and fertility of paradise and how to reach it. In a lecture titled “The Straight Path”, Sheikh Mohammed Hisham Tahiri clarified the meaning of straight path and importance of walking on it. Sheikh Khalid Al Qahtani delivered the 7th lecture at Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque. Titled “Polytheism, Types and Prevention”, the lecture presented what Muslims should do to be secured against the danger of polytheism. The schedule of lectures at Al Salaf Al Saleh Mosque includes a lecture titled “Solving the Problems of Boys” by Sheikh Hamad Abdulaziz Al Atik, a lecture about the biography of Imam Ahmed by Sheikh Dr. Salah Al Doubi and a lecture titled “Knowledge is Light” by Prof. Dr. Saleh Al Suhaimi Al Harbi on the 8th, 9th and 10th day of Ramadan, respectively (25th, 26th and 27th of June). Sheikh Ahmed Abdulkarim will lead the worshippers in Tarawih prayers on the 8th day of Ramadan, followed by Sheikh Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Obaidly who will be Imam of Tarawih prayers from the 9th until 14th day of Ramadan. The list of lectures at Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque in Khorfakkan includes a lecture titled “Stories of Preceding Scholars against Seditions" by Sheikh Yassir Al Housani, a lecture titled “Impact of Frustration on Individual and Society” by Sheikh Hamad Abdulaziz Al Atik and a lecture titled “Moments of Suhoor” by Sheikh Dr. Saleh Abdulkarim on the 8th, 9th and 10th day of Ramadan, respectively (25th, 26th and 27th of June).
