As the Consul General of Italy in Dubai, H.E Favilli holds a position of great influence and it was highly gratifying to receive his positive feedback on the amenities and activities that are being held in Sharjah. We are very pleased with the results of the visit and look forward to welcoming H.E. Favilli back to Sharjah in the near future. H.E. Giovanni Favilli expressed his delight at being invited for a tour and commended Shurooq for the excellence of their projects. Furthermore he voiced his hope that the mutually beneficial ties between Sharjah and the Italian Consulate would remain strong leading to increased cultural collaboration between Sharjah and Italy. Shurooq was established in 2009 with the aim of achieving social, cultural, environmental and economic development on the basis of Sharjah's distinct Arab and Islamic identity, so as to encourage investment by adopting the best international standards in providing quality services that help attract investors from the region and the world. The Authority's main mission is to provide the required facilities and incentives, evaluate investment related infrastructure projects, lay down the necessary plans to complete such projects and to overcome obstacles facing investment activities in the Emirate.
