HE Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, CEO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), announced that Shurooq will be unveiling a new tourism project to be developed in an island within Sharjah, during a press conference to be held on the 7th of May, on the sidelines of ATM 2013. Al Sarkal emphasized that the project will generate large scale of international interest. Making the most of the premier tourism event, Shurooq will be conducting a series of meetings with the various participating delegations as well as with representatives of travel agencies, hotels, leisure operators, and investors from within the United Arab Emirates and all over the world to explore possible collaborations and discuss cooperative agreements with the aim of further stimulating development in Sharjah's fast growing tourism sector.
