Shurooq promotes Sharjah’s retail investment opportunities in Paris

"We held meetings with senior executives and representatives of leading global department stores during the two-day summit, where we discussed avenues of cooperation and updated them on the many developments taking place in the Emirate's booming retail sector, making it a promising investment destination for potential investors," Al Qaseer added. During the summit, Shurooq's delegation engaged in several discussions and listened to dynamic presentations made by highly experienced department stores' CEOs who highlighted the latest developments and challenges facing the department stores' businesses, allowing the participants to gain new insights into the developments and future prospects of the retail industry. Shurooq was established in 2009 with the aim of achieving social, cultural, environmental and economic development on the basis of Sharjah's distinct Arab and Islamic identity, and to encourage investment by adopting the best international standards in providing quality services that help attract investors from the region and the world.
