The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced that it will embark on an extensive study to explore mechanisms of attracting investment projects to Al Dhaid. The Sharjah Development and Investment Authority (Shurooq) has announced the completion of the linking of Al Majaz Waterfront and Khalid Lagoon. Shurooq is on track to finalise the other facilities of the project, which is scheduled for completion in December 2010, to coincide with the launch of the 2010 Sharjah Water Festival and the UIM Formula One Powerboat World Championship - Sharjah Grand Prix. Shurooq, the party in charge of supervising the Al Majaz Waterfront development project in the emirate of Sharjah, has announced the completion of construction work on the semi-circular road surrounding Al Majaz Waterfront and the opening of the road to traffic. The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced the commencement of construction works on the 'Heart of Sharjah' project. The Heart of Sharjah is Shurooq's first project and was announced in May of this year. As part of phase 1 of the project, the Sharjah Art Foundation commenced renovation work last week in preparation for the Sharjah Biennale 2011. This preparation includes the partial demolition and adaptation of certain previously renovated historic buildings to provide an exciting sequence of art exhibition spaces and workshops for the Biennale. Al Sarkal: Efforts are being made to facilitate vehicular traffic flow and to ensure most services remain available throughout development process Road contracting and landscape and architecture development were awarded to six establishments.
