Operator expands its service with the launch of a night-time tour
Departing daily at 8:00 pm from Sharjah's popular Al Majaz Waterfront, The night tour will run daily from 8pm to 11pm last departure, and will treat passengers to a trip that showcases some of the city's most breath-taking sights, including Buhaira Corniche, Al Qasba, Expo Centre Sharjah, Mega Mall, , the Central Souk, Cultural Square and Al Noor Mosque. While the night tour will boast the same exceptional service and unparalleled experience as the standard City Sightseeing Sharjah tour, it does not offer the usual 'hop on hop off' option; passengers are required to remain on the same bus for the duration of the journey. Commenting on the night tour service, Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chief Operating Officer of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), said: "The City Sightseeing Sharjah bus tours have been widely welcomed by tourists and residents alike, and we have seen exceptional growth in the number of passengers using the service since its launch in January." He added: "While the standard tour has undoubtedly helped to highlight Sharjah's premier tourist attractions and heritage sites, the night tour is expected to add another dimension to the city by showcasing Sharjah in a whole new light. We would like to invite tourists and locals to come and enjoy this entirely unique experience." Tickets for the night tour separately at AED50 for adults and AED25 for children ( Free entry for children under 12 years old). However, customers with a 24-hour valid ticket - set at AED 85 for adults and AED 45 for children - will also be able to use their tickets for the night tour. City Sightseeing Sharjah was launched by Shurooq in cooperation with City Sightseeing Worldwide, one of the world's premier city tour providers, in December 2012 and has been operational from mid-January this year.
